Grand Hotel Pianeta Maratea Resort, Maratea

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. While the view was spectacular, the room was old and the heating couldn't be adjusted. Staff attention was lacking, and the breakfast options were quite basic. On a positive note, the peaceful atmosphere was nice, but overall, I wouldn't recommend this place given my experience.

The hotel boasts a stunning location with breathtaking views of the sea and the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. While the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms are commendable, they do feel somewhat outdated. The dining experience was enjoyable, featuring delicious local cuisine, although the service in the restaurant could have been more attentive. The shuttle service to the beach was convenient, but the distance from the beach itself was a slight inconvenience.

I had a wonderful family getaway at Grand Resort Hotel Pianetamaratea, which turned out to be a delightful surprise. The staff went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday special, and the views from our suite were breathtaking. Our kids were thrilled with the spacious rooms, but I wish the hotel had a bit more life as it felt a little quiet during our stay. Overall, it provided great value for the price we paid with lovely amenities.
